Huntsville Happening 👀

Visiting Canadian Bakin’

I don’t know about our readers here, but at my place, we have no beef with carbs. No dieting is allowed in this house. We respect the humble loaf, bagel, and bun. Fortunately, Canadian Bakin’ has everything you could ask for if you’re in the same camp. This cozy bakery/cafe offers bread baked fresh every day in the historic downtown district, along with plenty of other flavorful fillings.

Visiting Bubby’s Diner

For lunch this weekend, I tried out the South Huntsville eatery Bubby’s Diner.  This quaint eatery is located on the busy Whitesburg Drive and is locally owned, boasting a unique set of charms for customers. The diner is themed as a traditional 1950’s diner and anyone looking for vintage nostalgia will love the fun dĂ©cor that Bubby’s offers.

We are determined to sell them very cheap either for cash, or to responsible persons on the usual time. Call and examine and we think you will be induced to buy. Bonnets, Caps, and Head-dresses made to order - H. Carter & Co.”
