Huntsville History 📖
March 1, 1890 - The Huntsville Gazette

The afternoon of yesterday may well be chronicled as a raw, disagreeable season, and not at all in keeping with the brand of weather in this section on the last day of February. In spite of the raw temperature that prevailed yesterday the street force under Superintendent Blake did some very effective work on the crossings of some of our much traveled thoroughfares, for which the thanks of our people are due.
