High Schools in Huntsville, Alabama

Superior education is one of the many reasons families relocate to the Huntsville/Madison area. Quality education prepares our young citizens to succeed in college and hopefully return to contribute to the workforce of our great city. The schools in this article were chosen due to their popularity among families in addition to their accomplishments in the field of education. Read on to see which of these schools would be the best fit for you.

Little Rosie’s Taqueria

After being cooped up at home because of the cold in North Alabama. A trip to Little Rosie’s Taqueria is a breath of fresh air. This little spot at Whitesburg and Airport is all about making everything fresh every day. Imagine biting into tacos or scooping up guac that tastes like it was made just for you. That’s what Little Rosie’s is all about – food that makes you glad you left the house.

Walking into Little Rosie’s feels like stepping into a friend’s cozy kitchen. The place is filled with fun decorations, like bright flags and a big ceramic frog, making you feel right at home. They’ve got dishes for everyone, whether you like your food with a little spice or not. And the best part? The prices are just as friendly as the atmosphere.

Huntsville History

Sunday, April 12, 1953, The Huntsville Times:

“James D. Hays, Whitesburg farmer, has taken over full ownership of the Hays farming interest on completion of final transfers of property recorded the past week. The approximately 750 acres in two farms in the Whitesburg area had been operated under the name of J. E. and J. D. Hays prior to this time. Transfers this week represented the final settlement of the estate of the late J. E. Hays, which went to his widow, J. D. Hays, his son, and two daughters. Transfers the past week involved property listed in deeds at a value of $137,256.66.”
