Hey Neighbor, we ran a poll last time, and many of you said you’d use passenger rail if it connected Huntsville to nearby cities. Some even expressed their thoughts on the possibility:

The population growth in Huntsville in past years would benefit tremendously from rail services. It would definitely eliminate a lot of 5pm traffic jams. I support 💯 %.”

I would love to hop on go to Nashville or Birmingham. Mobile for shopping, a weekend concert, checking out new museums.”

“I frequently drive to Anniston just to take Amtrak! I have had multiple Amtrak employees tell me that the folks in Mobile wanted a train for years and the city kept voting against it. Finally, it got approved and in its first nine months of operations it has done three times more than the projections! The conductor told me that every train is full and people are loving it! It is bringing in lots of tourism dollars! We have the tracks and a lovely depot already!!!! Why aren’t we using them??? Let’s go Huntsville!!!”
