Phyllis George, Miss America of 1971, told about 500 of her subjects at Dunnavant's Mall this morning that "it's great to be back down South." The beauty queen arrived in Huntsville this morning for the 10th annual Randolph School Benefit Bridge and Fashion Show. The brunette beauty was welcomed to Huntsville at the jetport by Mayor Joe Davis after her plane landed almost an hour late. She is scheduled to appear at Dunnavant's again at 4 p.m. for a children's fashion show and party and at 7:45 p.m. for an evening bridge and fashion show.
