Huntsville History 📔

The Huntsville Daily Times June 7, 1916:

“Huntsville's third annual Chautauqua opened most auspiciously at 3 o'clock this afternoon with a record breaking first day crowd in attendance. The attraction of the afternoon was a full concert by the Killarney Girls, six young ladies in a most pleasing and varied entertainment of songs, readings, piano and violin. They set a high standard for the week and if every number proves as popular and high class, Huntsville will not have a cause for complaint on the music.”

Visiting Chuckwagon BBQ

When looking for a place to feed the whole family, you may be concerned about ensuring all party members have enough food. But quality, too, is a must. Sadly, many eateries offer one but not the other.

When we dined at Chuckwagon BBQ in Madison, we found ourselves delighted by the blend of quantity and quality we found there. There wasn’t a bite of leftovers, though—despite the portion sizes, it was simply too good to leave behind.
